Today begins the 29th anniversary of the death of Bobby Sands, who was born in Belfast and died March 9, 1954 May 5, 1981. For those not familiar, was a Northern Irish activist symbol of the struggle for liberation from the British power in Northern Ireland, who died during the hunger strike of 1981, in Long Kesh prison.
